     We know that there was a 2nd wife of Hugh T Middleton, Sr. But we have not found proof of her name. Most reseachers say she was Sarah, so we are using that with this disclaimer.

[S967] Daniel B Lloyd, Middletons and Kindred Families, page 67 states that H.T Middleton's 2nd wife was Lydia Coghill with 6 children, but this is the only referernce to Lydia Coghill & these children are found. His estate & probate papers say that his 2nd wife had two children and there was no mention of children with his 1st wife.
