Carl M. died on 24 February 1955 in Fredericksburg, Texas, at age 64. Carl M.'s obituary was published on 28 February 1955 in the The Austin American in Austin, Texas. His obituary reads:
Funeral services were held Saturday in San Antonio for Carl Feueracher who died at his home Thursday in Fredericksburg. He is survived by four Austinites. The survivors are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Lois McDoubal of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Mrs. A.L. Sanders of Austin and Mrs. Frank Mobley of San Antonio; four brothers, Ed Feuerbacher, Willie Feuerbacher and Paul Feuerbacher all of Austin, and Hugo Feuerbacher of San Antonio.2
